What we help with

  • Choosing the right course

Certificates I–IV, diplomas, apprenticeships and traineeships — matched to the job you want, not just the first course you find.

  • Checking the provider

We confirm the training organisation is registered on training.gov.au and that your course is on its scope of registration.

  • Checking your funding

Many people can access subsidised training — such as NSW Smart and Skilled, Victoria’s Skills First, Queensland’s Certificate 3 Guarantee, Fee-Free TAFE places or VET Student Loans for eligible diplomas. We help you check eligibility.

  • Getting enrolled

Your Unique Student Identifier (USI), enrolment forms, and credit for study or experience you already have — sorted, step by step.

Who we help

  • School leavers choosing a first qualification
  • Workers upskilling or moving into supervision
  • Career changers starting something new
  • New permanent residents and citizens

Enrolment questions.

Does it cost anything to talk to you?

No. The first conversation is free and there’s no obligation. Course fees are set by the training provider, and we’ll make sure you understand them before you enrol.

Am I eligible for government-subsidised training?

It depends on your state and your circumstances — typically residency, age, where you live and qualifications you already hold. Each state runs its own program, and Fee-Free TAFE places are offered in priority areas. We’ll help you check what you may be eligible for.

What is a USI?

A Unique Student Identifier is a free reference number that keeps a record of your nationally recognised training. You need one to enrol and to receive your qualification, and you keep it for life.

Can I get credit for study or experience I already have?

Often, yes. Credit transfer recognises units you’ve already completed, and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) can recognise skills from work — both are assessed by the training provider.

I’m on a student visa — is this for me?

International students enrol through CRICOS-registered courses. See our student visa guidance page for how that works.
