FAQ

Straight answers.

The questions we hear most. Anything else, just ask.

Is RPL a legitimate way to get a qualification?

Yes — when it’s done properly. Recognition of Prior Learning is a standard part of Australia’s vocational system, but it must be assessed by a registered training organisation (RTO) using real evidence of your skills, often including a practical assessment. Be wary of anyone offering a qualification with no assessment, in a few days, or with a guarantee.

Does RS Education issue qualifications?

No. We are not an RTO. We help you understand your options and prepare, then connect you with RTOs registered on training.gov.au. Only the RTO can assess you and issue a qualification, which you can then see on your USI transcript.

Can you help me find government-funded training?

We can check whether you may be eligible for government-subsidised training in your state — eligibility depends on things like your residency, age, location and existing qualifications — and point you to providers that offer it.

Do you lodge student visa applications?

No. We provide general guidance on studying in Australia and help with the course and enrolment side. We don’t provide immigration assistance; for the visa itself, use the Department of Home Affairs website or a registered migration agent.

What does the first conversation cost?

Nothing. Your first assessment is free and there’s no obligation. If we think another path suits you better, we’ll tell you.
